From Faith Weekly  In the hot summer, the nuns of Servants of the Immaculate Heart of Mary from Baotou diocese in Inner Mongolia lead the Lucheng Love Team to take good care for the widowed and left behind elderly. On August 1, a batch of mosquito nets were set up for the elderly.

Xiaobalagai is a big village with seven thousand people. In order to make a living, many young people go to work in the city, so old people, either widowed or left behind, becomes more and more. Local nuns organized up a love team, regularly visit and take care of the elderly. One day, Mr. Hou told the Faith staff, “My mother prefer to live in village to city. The Sisters with team member often visit and take good care of her. And her house is near the church, so that she can go for Mass every day.” Surely, the elderly are used to living in their own home. The Sisters and Lucheng Love Team make the elderly feel loved and not lonely. Caring for and servicing the disadvantaged groups in society is fraternity.
